Uns Europa offers professional service staff the opportunity to network with other professionals across the alliance, build new skills and enjoy mobility opportunities to partner universities.

The Festival of Languages invites all Edinburgh staff and students for a full day of celebration of multilingualism on campus with language taster sessions, talks and drop-in cultural workshops.

The event will also showcase a series of short videos from the Una Europa Edinburgh Student Network, uniting many languages through one shared greeting.

Una Europa’s job shadowing for professional services staff at the alliance’s partner universities. The programme seeks to give professionals the opportunity to actively engage in the Una Europa community and get involved in peer-to-peer learning, providing an opportunity for mutual learning in a transnational context.

Una Europa Staff Weeks bring together professionals from a wide range of services and administrative areas, for a week of networking, workshops and professional sessions. Each Staff Week focuses on a key topic for higher education professionals, from student affairs to library services, research support or diversity and inclusion.

The 2026 Una Europa Staff Week will take place in June at Helsingin yliopisto/Helsingfors universitet. Applications for this year’s Staff Week are now closed.
