Una Europa for students

Celebrate the European Day of Languages 2026 with Una Europa! Sign up for free, online “bite-size” sessions to learn the basics in one of the official languages of Una Europa (or further afield!) in a relaxed setting with 45-minute 'taster' sessions, taught by qualified language tutors from across the alliance, or come along to a panel discussion on multilingualism with linguists and experts from the Una Europa community.

Are you passionate in sustainability and interested in connecting with student peers from across Europe and Africa? Join UnaVEx to gain an insight into climate change, biodiversity, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and more, with inspiring talks from subject experts. Over the course of five weeks, participants will work in small international group of peers to develop a collaborative, sustainability-themed action task.

UnaVEx takes place fully online and is open to all UoE students with an interest in sustainability, from any subject and study level.

Work with a group of enthusiastic student peers to create student-led projects on campus and collaborate with staff on joint initiatives. Consisting of five MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) which, once completed, award the learner with 10ECTS. After studying the introductory course, there are four additional courses covering the environmental, economic, and social aspects of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
