Leuphana University of Lüneburg

The Leuphana University Lüneburg emerged from the special legal mandate of the Lower Saxony state parliament to rethink university and create a model university for the Bologna Process. It is supported by a foundation under public law and sees itself as a place for free thirst for knowledge, imagination, personal development and social commitment. For its studies, it has developed a multi-award-winning study model with three schools, which is still unique in Germany today.

Teaching is offered in both English and German. Students in Sustainable Development should be able to complete a full course load in English. However, Social Policy students may have fewer English-taught options and should therefore meet the institution’s minimum German language requirements.
