Massey University

Massey University is a premier public research university in New Zealand, recognized globally in the top 1% of universities. Established in 1927, it serves over 26,000 students and stands out as a true multi-campus university, with three campuses located in Auckland, Palmerston North, and Wellington. Social Work
Speech and Language Therapy

Some courses have prerequisites. A prerequisite is a course that needs to be completed before you move on to another. To enrol in some 200-level (second-year undergraduate) courses, you have to have completed certain 100-level (first-year undergraduate) prerequisites. How much will it cost to go on exchange to Massey University?

You will need to consider establishment costs, which may include buying furniture, paying a rental bond, and setting up electricity, gas and mobile phone accounts. Other expenses, such as visa and medical fees (see ‘Health insurance’, below), as well as return airfares, should also be considered. Remember that exchange rate variations may also affect your budget.

Health insurance

It's the law in New Zealand that all international students must have suitable travel and medical insurance.

As an international student at Massey, you’ll be enrolled in their Studentsafe insurance plan, which is something you pay for when you are accepted by Massey. You may be able to apply to use the University of Edinburgh’s travel insurance policy as a waiver for the Studentsafe policy.
