Dr Sheriff Ceesay is an accomplished Gambian researcher and educator. He holds a PhD in Climate Change Economics from Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar (UCAD) and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer and the Acting Director of Research and Development at the University of Education, The Gambia (UEG), building on prior leadership as a head of department.Dr Ceesay's mixed-methods research expertise spans educational leadership, economics, and climate adaptation. As a dedicated Digital Education Practitioner, his interest focuses on leveraging technology to transform pedagogy in resource-constrained contexts, and how digital tools can enhance climate change awareness and literacy. This scholarly practice is fundamentally guided by a strong commitment to research ethics and integrity, principles developed through his work with the Africa Bioethics Network.
